Pamela Mitchell, CLC, , is the founder and CEO of The Reinvention Institute, Inc. (TRI), a dynamic organization devoted to individual and business transformation. Ms. Mitchell is a noted career reinvention expert and in-demand speaker who has appeared on the Today Show and been profiled and quoted in top media publications including The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, More, and Black Enterprise. She writes a popular column on women in business for Inc.com, the website of INC magazine.



Prior to reinventing herself (for the second time!) by starting TRI, Ms. Mitchell spent nearly fifteen years in senior-level roles in international business development, marketing and relationship management for high-profile media and entertainment companies.

Her experience includes serving as Vice President of International for Playboy.com, where she negotiated several high-profile joint ventures, launched the website in a number of territories and worked with the U.S. home office, local .com partners and other in-country Playboy partners to create online/offline marketing plans that increased local awareness of the sites. She was also the founder and leader of a senior-level committee responsible for global business and marketing synergies across Playboy's corporate divisions.

As Director of Sales and Marketing for Europe, Latin America, Africa/Middle East for Discovery Communications' consumer products group, Ms. Mitchell oversaw sales, marketing and business development for video, multimedia, on-line and book distribution in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Discovery, she spent five years on Wall Street, where she managed international partnerships for Knight-Ridder Financial.

In addition to being a certified coach, Ms. Mitchell has a BA in Romance Languages from Harvard University and an MBA from the top international business school, Thunderbird. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the coaching industry's top professional organization, and earned her coaching credentials through Coach for Life, an ICF-accredited program.
